Location: Topeka, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend rotation

Highlights:

• 27-bed Spine Center specializing in post-surgical trauma, neurosurgery, and orthopedic care
• Patient population includes spinal surgery, traumatic brain injuries, subdural hematomas, orthopedic injuries, and trauma-related cases (GSW, MVC, crush injuries, falls)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Epic charting system with test-out option available
• Contract length of 26–51 weeks preferred; longer contracts receive priority consideration
• Magnet-designated facility committed to High Reliability Organization culture and nursing excellence

Requirements:

• Active Kansas or Multistate RN license (no discipline on record)
• AHA BLS certification required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• ADN or BSN degree
• Previous travel experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Immunization records: Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella (titer or vaccination proof), TDaP, TB documentation, and Influenza vaccine or exemption during flu season
• Flexibility to float to other post-surgical and med/surg inpatient floors as needed
• Availability for interview must be provided at time of submission
