Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Neurology – North Carolina

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Coastal North Carolina

Schedule: Night shift, 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend required (5-6 weekend shifts per contract period)

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license
• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required or willingness to obtain
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Proficiency in IV placement and peripheral line management
• Neurology experience strongly preferred
• Willingness to float to other units as needed (travelers float first)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must be available to work during catastrophic events or disasters as part of emergency response protocols
