Job Title: Travel RN - Orthopedic Surgery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in an acute care hospital as an Orthopedic RN License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS Preferred, ACLS Preferred Description: This is a travel nurse position specializing in orthopedic surgery. The unit consists of 30 beds with a dedicated nursing staff. Staff includes 1 Charge Nurse, 4-6 bedside RNs, and 2-4 Patient Care Technicians. Patient ratios are approximately 1:5 or 1:6. Equipment used includes Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) machines, nerve block pumps, and On-Q balls. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are managed via Meditech. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a team player. The team is committed to providing excellent patient experiences and quality outcomes. The patient population includes elective orthopedic patients as well as orthopedic trauma patients. Candidates will be prioritized based on relevant experience and skills.
