Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS ACLS Description: The unit has 25 beds and a staff of over 40. Staffing on day shift includes 1 free charge nurse, 1 unit coordinator, 3 patient care technicians, and 5 registered nurses. Staffing on night shift includes 5 registered nurses and 1 patient care technician. Patient ratios are typically 6:1, and sometimes 5:1. Equipped with Baxter IV pumps, KCI wound vacs, and SCD pumps. Utilizes Meditech for electronic medical records. Preferred applicants should be able to manage chest tubes, non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, and weight-based heparin drips. Dress code requires royal blue scrubs. The unit encourages applications from candidates with telemetry experience and Meditech familiarity.
