**Position Overview:**
- **Role:** Registered Nurse (Acute Travel)
- **Specialty:** Medical – Surgical
- **Shift:** 7A - 7:30P
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Requirements:** Every other/as needed
- **Call Requirements:** As needed
**Unit Highlights:**
- **Number of Beds:** 57
- **Patient Ratios:** Up to 1:6, with PCA assistance
- **Patient Population:** Serves all ages
- **EHR System:** MediTech
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver compassionate and quality care to patients
- Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team
- Float to like units as needed
- Participate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
**Qualifications:**
- **Required Experience:** 1+ years
- **Required Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB
- **Education:** Active RN license to practice in Kentucky
- **Personality Fit:** Kind, caring, and compassionate
**Common Diagnoses/Treatments:**
- COPD, post-operative joint procedures, diabetic population
**Dress Code:**
- **Scrub Color:** Any
- **Unacceptable Attire:** Branded attire from other facilities
