**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Pulaski, TN
- **Shift:** 7P - 7:30A
- **Orientation:** Weekly on Mondays
- **Department:** Medical/Surgical
- **Openings:** 1
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Requirements:** Rotate every other weekend; additional weekends scheduled as needed
- **Call Requirements:** Yes, based on census
- **Float Requirements:** May float to different areas including medical detox, ICU, OB, or ER; manage low-level med/surg overflow in ICU with a 1:3 patient ratio
**Essential Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, predominantly geriatric and adult patients
- Work effectively in a team environment supported by a unit secretary/monitor tech
- Utilize advanced equipment including Welch Allyn vital machines, careview, and telemetry
- Navigate the EHR system Medhost for efficient clinical documentation and patient care coordination
**Qualifications:**
- **Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- **Education:** Certification/Licensure to work as an RN in TN
- **Personality Fit:** Professional and collaborative with a focus on patient-centered care
