Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry.
The position is for a 13-week duration with day shifts of 12 hours.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Travel experience is preferred, along with previous charge experience.
Nurses will care for adult patients, including young adults and geriatric patients.
Priority is given to those needing medical-level cardiac care and recovering from cardiac interventions.
Interventions include cardiac surgery, stent placement, and pacemaker implantation.
The nurse-patient ratio is 1:5-6 during day shifts.
Familiarity with charting systems, specifically Epic, is required.
Essential skills include managing telemetry, administering blood products, and interpreting dysrhythmias.
Additional responsibilities may include care for central and peripheral lines, management of various drips, and wound care.
Interdisciplinary support will be provided from various departments including physical therapy and respiratory services.
Candidates must comply with onboarding protocols and complete required labs.
All relevant time off must be communicated upon submission.
