Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,752 per week in Macon, GA

Job Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 hours (0700-1900) Experience: Minimum 2 years Med/Surg/Telemetry RN experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; EKG competency exam required during onboarding; Med/Surg certification is a plus Must-Have: - Proficiency in managing cardiac drips including insulin and heparin drips - Experience with trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, and glucometer use Description: We are seeking a skilled RN for our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units. This unit is a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork. RNs are responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients on inpatient Med/Surg units. Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6. Support staff will assist with various patient care tasks. Unit Secretaries are available to support daily operations. The nursing staff is supported by a dedicated charge nurse. RNs will be required to float to different units as needed. The facility utilizes an EMR system for documentation. Equipment includes various monitoring devices and medication dispensing systems. Candidates must demonstrate a strong foundation in critical care skills.
