Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves floating across various units to support patient care needs, including ER boarded patients, telemetry, and medical-surgical cases. The RN may have some charge responsibilities on small units, managing staffing, bed flow, and coordination, with a focus on providing quality care for adult and geriatric patients.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Nights, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/06/2026 and ending 01/05/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Current US-based nursing license, at least 2 years of nursing experience with a focus on patient ratios of 4-6, and experience with charting in EPIC. Certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Previous charge nurse experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care or Step-Down Unit, experience with cardiac telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias, and familiarity with isolation precautions and PPE.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, supporting various units in the facility.
• Additional Information: Clinicians must have US healthcare experience. Some charge responsibilities involve small units staffed by 1-2 RNs supported by LPNs and CNAs. Candidate must be flexible to work holidays and must request all time off at submission. The assignment requires a valid compact or state license. References covering the last three years are required. The candidate should not contact facility staff directly unless coordinated through the assigned account manager.
