Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Macon, Georgia.
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1800
$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg/Tele
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Patient population includes general medical surgical and telemetry inpatient cases
• Patient ratios: RN 1:4-6, LPN 1:4-6, CNA up to 1:14
• Required to float to all Med/Tele units in-house as needed
• Required certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Will be required to pass an EKG competency exam during onboarding
• Certification in med surg is a plus
• Required skills include trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, and glucometer use
• Must be proficient in cardiac drips including insulin drips, heparin drips, and drips titrated to heart rate
• EMR system: EPIC
• IV Pump: Alaris
• Medication dispensing: Pyxis
• Monitors: Philips
• Unit-specific equipment: VS3 vital sign monitors, Nova Glucose Stat Strips
• Scrub color: Navy blue for RNs
• Support staff includes CNAs, unit secretaries, charge nurses, resource nurses, respiratory therapy 24/7, hospitalists 24/7, and intensivists 24/7
• Central telemetry monitoring unit available
• PICC team available on site
• Busy, team-oriented unit culture

This facility is a large acute care hospital with 637 licensed beds and holds a Level 1 Trauma Designation, making it one of the most advanced medical centers in the region. It operates as a teaching hospital and houses specialized centers including a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center. The facility provides comprehensive support services including 24/7 respiratory therapy, hospitalist, and intensivist coverage, along with a centralized telemetry monitoring unit to ensure high-quality patient care.
