Description:
The position is located on a medical-surgical unit.
The unit has 34 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1.
There is a unit secretary available for day shifts and patient care technicians on all shifts.
The documentation system used is Meditech.
The scheduling requirements include three 12-hour shifts per week, with a requirement for four weekend shifts in the schedule.
Floating to other departments may occur based on need.
Candidates should meet hospital-specific patient experience requirements.
Certification as a BLS provider is required.
Dress code consists of navy scrubs.
Unit guidelines and policies are available as per organizational policies.
