Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,840 per week in Simpsonville, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years in specialty License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 1 year of experience with EPIC Description: Shift: 3x12 Nights 1900-0730. Float is required if needed to other similar units or facilities. Patient diagnoses include orthopedic and bariatric. Experience in a telemetry unit is required. Medication system utilized is Pyxis. Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and an active nursing license. Requesting 2 years of experience in the field. 3 years of experience within the specialty is required for first-time travelers. Patient ratios during days are 4-5:1 and nights are 6:1. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Daily census is approximately 20 patients, with a total of 25 beds available. Floating to other units and/or facilities is required per request due to census concerns. Staff will only float to units they are qualified for, performing tasks for which competencies have been documented. Pre-assignment testing and modules are required before starting. Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules, up to 16 hours. Modules are recorded and are not included in normal billing hours. Travelers must be located beyond specified distances from healthcare facilities to be eligible. Completion of all compliance requirements is mandatory. Modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information.
