Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in Wilson, NC. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities. The role supports adult and geriatric patient populations, emphasizing critical thinking and teamwork.
Job Details
Certifications: BLS, ACLS; Education Requirements: Associate degree, BSN preferred; Location Requirements: Must be 60 miles or greater from the facility; Experience Requirement: 1.5+ years.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include managing patient discharges and admissions, basic cardiac drip knowledge, and interpreting EKGs as a critical component of patient care.
Unit features include Welch Allyn vital sign machines, Hoyer lifts with weight scales, Abbott glucometers, computers on wheels, TR band, Baxter IV pumps.
Patient population comprises adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, uncontrolled diabetics, CKD, post-cardiac cath care.
This is a contractor replacement position with a start date of 11/02/2026 and end date of 02/01/2027.
Float rotation may be required.
