Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,858 per week in Orangeburg, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: South Carolina license or Compact license required prior to start Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have: Tele competency required Previous charge experience preferred Community hospital experience preferred Description: Position/Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN Shifts are 3x12 days from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Patient ratios on days are 1:5-6. Every other weekend is required. No on-call requirement. Traveler may need to float within scope to meet facility needs. Approval can be requested for block scheduling but is not guaranteed. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. Facility may call off one shift per every two weeks. Telemetry competency is required. Preferred experience in charge roles and community hospitals is a plus. Facility type is an acute care hospital. Total staffed beds are 286. Charting system utilized is Epic. Travelers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during storm season. All labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of the start date. Modules are non-billable and average four hours spent on training prior to the start date.
