Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 9 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience, 2+ years experience working with stroke patients License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS Certification, Basic EKG Certification Must-Have: Must be willing to take Telemetry patients as needed. Must be willing to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered. Must be willing to take mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered. Must be willing to take Basic EKG and score 85% or higher within 48 hours if offered. COVID vaccination required - no declinations accepted. Candidates with scheduling restrictions will not be accepted. Previous travel experience required. Description: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients. Nursing care is provided in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction. Utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data. Responsible for planning, providing, and evaluating care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
