MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves working three 12-hour shifts during the day, with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float between units as needed to meet facility requirements.

Position Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required, preferably in a MS/Tele setting.
• Licensure: Active South Carolina RN license or a compact license required prior to start.
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred.
• Competencies: Telemetry nursing experience and proficiency in telemetry competency are required.
• Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to like units or sister facilities as necessary.
• Weekend Requirement: Must work every other weekend.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours: Facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift every 2 weeks.
• Open to considering block schedule requests; however, approval is not guaranteed.
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission, with approval based on facility needs.
• This position may involve assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June through November.
