- Basic Med/Tele skillset including cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone)
- Wound care experience
- Drain/tube management experience
- PIV starts
- Central line management
Description:
Seeking an RN with MedSurg/Tele experience.
The facility has 241 licensed beds and offers a Level 3 Trauma designation.
The patient types include stroke and respiratory illnesses, renal failure, and wound care.
The average patient census is 32, with typical RN patient ratios of 1:5-6.
Surge staffing ratios may reach 1:7-8.
Support within the department includes CNAs for ADLs, mobility, and feeding.
Phlebotomy services are provided along with a 24/7 hospitalist, intensivist, and respiratory therapy.
Telemetry monitoring is available.
Floating between facilities may be required based on regional needs.
Travelers may be called back for low census situations.
Weekend rotation is expected, as travelers will work 75% of holidays.
RTO can be approved for up to 6 days off, with conditions.
