Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,894 per week in Wilson, NC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: EKG interpretation and critical thinking skills Description: Orientation is bi-weekly. This facility has 294 beds and is Joint Commission accredited. The unit offers cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services, and more. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The unit has a number of beds available for patient care with ratios of 5:1 or 6:1. Common diagnoses include CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, uncontrolled diabetes, CKD, and post-cardiac catheter care. Preferred skill set includes managing discharges and admissions, as well as basic cardiac drip knowledge. The environment requires team-oriented and flexible individuals. Dress code includes scrubs with no specific color assigned. Artificial nails are not allowed. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred. The position involves floating to other areas as needed. Weekend hours will be required every other or every third weekend.
