### Exciting Opportunity for Med-Surg RNs!
**Job Description**
- **Position**: Backfill Travel RN - Med/Surg
- **Cost Center**: 610
- **Shift**: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
**Unit Specifics**:
- Number of Beds: 46
- Patient Ratios: 6:1
- Staffing Team: Clinical Nurse Coordinators (Charge Nurse), RNs, LPNs, PCTs, Nurse Externs, Unit Clerks
- Equipment: GE Apex Pro Telemetry box, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, Baxter IV pumps, iMobile, Alaris PCA IV pump, Welch Allen Vitals machine, Glucometer
- Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
- Floating Policy: May float to 3 South (post-surgical med/surg) or to PCU (tele overflow)
- Scheduling: Every other weekend, three 12-hour shifts per week
**Requirements**:
- Experience: At least 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- Certifications: Active nursing license in good standing (with compact if indicated), BLS required, ACLS preferred, current NIH certification (must be certified annually)

- Chest Tubes
- NG Tubes
- Wound Vac
- Drains

- Blood Transfusions
**Procedures Performed on Unit**:
- Telemetry Monitoring
- Paracentesis
**Dress Code**:
- Navy blue or Gray scrubs (No T-shirts, fleece jackets, or sweatshirts)
- Any color or patterned scrub jacket permitted
- Any color or patterned long sleeve shirts under scrub top allowed
- No Royal Blue scrubs (reserved for OB/LD department)
