Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgery/Telemetry unit.
This position requires a strong foundation in telemetry nursing.
The nurse will provide care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and a variety of medical and surgical interventions.
Experience with dysrhythmias and cardiac drips is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in administering blood products and managing central lines and other invasive devices.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams are required.
The nurse will be responsible for interpreting telemetry strips and responding to changes in patient condition.
Weekends and additional shifts may be needed as required by patient care needs.
The candidate will also participate in the education of patients and families regarding their health conditions and treatment plans.
An understanding of isolation precautions and infection control practices is important.
The candidate must be prepared to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
Travelers may be subject to attendance policies, with the potential for contract review based on missed shifts without reasonable explanation.
