Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,912 per week in Greer, SC

Shaving may be required to pass a fit test onsite, and if not, will result in failure of fit testing requirements. Description: Position/Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Ratios: 1:6 First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend requirements: As needed Special Requirements: Must be able to pass arrhythmia and medication test on the first day. There is an attendance policy for travelers. If more than two shifts per 13-week contract are missed without reasonable explanation, the contract will be reviewed for cancellation. Patient ratios on days, nights, and weekends are 5. Float to other medical-surgical telemetry units may be required. Primary patient population includes adults with medical and surgical-related illnesses. Patients may require continuous cardiac monitoring or oxygen saturation via remote telemetry. Special procedures may include cardiac monitoring and dialysis. Compliance with testing at orientation is required, including a cardiac dysrhythmia test. A moderate sedation test is required for specific units. Modules are not required.
