Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,915 per week in Gaffney, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years preferred; will consider 1 year on a case-by-case basis License: Pending licenses accepted; must obtain before starting Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must be able to pass arrhythmia and medication test on the first day. - Must meet attendance policy requirements. Description: This is a Resource Pool nursing position. The Registered Nurse will float to other units as needed. The nurse will know in advance where they are scheduled. Open to additional shifts as needed. Ratios are 1:6. A strong understanding of dysrhythmias is required. Experience with telemetry is essential. Testing for cardiac dysrhythmias will be conducted on the first day of orientation. The nurse will participate in monitoring patients for various diagnoses, including sepsis, dementia, post-operative care, and chest pain. The unit utilizes centralized tele monitoring. Candidates must include all requested time off within the initial submission. Failure to adhere to the attendance policy may result in contract cancellation. Travelers will have one chance to pass critical tests during orientation. Additional shifts may be required, and flexibility in scheduling is essential. Experience with telemetry systems is preferred but not mandatory for submission.
