Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,915 per week in Wilmington, NC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NC or Compact License pending ok for submission Certifications: Basic Life Support (BCLS) Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry - Experience with remote monitoring and management of dysrhythmias - Proficient in IV insulin protocols, central line management, and blood product administration - Ability to provide colostomy care, manage feeding tubes, and perform phlebotomy - Competence in pre/post hemodialysis management - Familiarity with isolation precautions and wound care Description: As a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry, you will work night shifts and be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care. You will provide care to patients with various diagnoses, including dementia, diabetes, COVID-19, pneumonia, COPD, and sepsis. The nurse-to-patient ratio is between 1:5-6. You will need to manage medications, monitor telemetry, and respond to rapid response situations. Floating within the facility is required based on needs. Report to work during catastrophic events or disasters as required. You must adhere to RTO policies, with a maximum approval of 7 days. Weekend shifts will also be required, with an expectation of 12-16 shifts per contract. You will be supported by interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to employment.
