• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710 - $1,800
• Start Date: 10/13/2026
• Weekend Coverage: May be required
• Floating: May float to the same level of care
• Charting System: Cerner preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a compact license
• 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• At least 1 previous travel nursing assignment required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Cerner experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-acuity hospital nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry patterns and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Assess, plan, and implement patient-centered care for adults and geriatrics
• Collaborate with physicians, rapid response teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and other clinical support departments
• Administer medications, complete treatments, and document care accurately in Cerner
• Support patients boarding from the emergency department and maintain continuity of care
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced medical-surgical telemetry setting
