Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry or telemetry nursing experience
• At least 1 previous travel nurse assignment required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong telemetry interpretation and acute care assessment skills
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Ability to support a patient ratio of 6:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Must be able to complete pre-start compliance requirements on time

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support safe patient outcomes
• Perform ongoing assessments, document care accurately, and communicate critical findings
• Support patients with a range of medical-surgical and telemetry needs
• Float to the same level of care as assigned
• Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled
• Maintain readiness for clinical review, orientation, and assigned training modules
