Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,916 per week in Pomona, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medsurg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, MS experience, Cerner Must-Have: Experience with stroke patients Ability to float between Telemetry and Medsurg units Previous charge experience preferred Description: Primarily scheduled on Medsurg, with the ability to float to Telemetry. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, but first-time travelers are welcome. Blocked scheduling cannot be approved. Limited time off requests are allowed (5 days). Candidates must be flexible, experienced, and willing to float between telemetry and Medsurg units. Patient ratios and bed assignments vary across different specialties, including orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, oncology, and general medicine. Daily patient census varies and includes both adult and geriatric populations. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Candidates must comply with a strict dress code, including restrictions on facial hair, acrylic nails, unnatural hair colors, visible tattoos, and body piercings.
