Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,916 per week in Pomona, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with stroke patients Ability to float between Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units Knowledge in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Experience in telemetry monitoring Description: RTO must be submitted prior to being offered. Up to 5 days of RTO and 1 holiday approved off is allowed. Travelers will be floated based on need within the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units. Candidates should have flexibility and be willing to float between units. Daily patient ratios vary and may include orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, oncological, and general medical patients. Candidates must have experience managing stroke patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Candidates should comply with strict dress code guidelines including no visible body piercings other than earrings and covering all tattoos. All modules are completed during orientation, and module time is non-billable. Completion of required modules is tracked by the facility.
