Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,920 per week in Wilmington, NC

The role involves the management of various medical conditions, including dysrhythmias, renal failure, and post-operative care. The nurse will be responsible for telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias. The care provided includes feeding tube management, colostomy care, and blood product administration. Nurses will perform phlebotomy, IV insertion, and central line blood draws. Management of respiratory equipment such as BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula is required. The nurse will also be involved in isolation precautions and wound care. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for patient care. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:6. Floating to other areas within the facility may be required. The nurse must be available to work holidays and every other weekend. Candidates should be open to ongoing education and training as needed.
