Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position is available in an acute care facility. This role involves providing patient care on a 36-bed unit specializing in General Medical and psych patients, with diagnoses including GI, pneumonia, renal, CHF, DM, and infectious diseases.

Job Details:

• Position Description: The RN will work on a 36-bed unit with private rooms, supporting patients with various medical conditions and mental health concerns. The unit emphasizes teamwork, high-quality patient care, and adherence to care bundles.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of RN experience. Knowledge of telehealth monitoring, electrocardiogram strip interpretation, and skills in de-escalation techniques, chest tubes, heparin drips, and NG tubes/feeding tubes are preferred.
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm, totaling at least 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  • Local candidates are not accepted; a 50-mile radius restriction applies.
  • The unit may require floating to other med-surg units, ICU, or ER as a resource.
  • No specific weekend or holiday requirements, but coverage may be needed occasionally.
  • Orientation consists of 2 twelve-hour shifts with no blockscheduling.
  • No tattoos above shoulders are allowed; facial piercings are limited to a nose stud; professional scrubs are required.
