Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,930 per week in Bay City, MI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in Med Surg and Telemetry License: State License required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - 2 years Med Surg and Telemetry experience Description: Perform comprehensive assessments upon admission and monitor condition trends throughout the patient's hospital stay. Prepare, administer, and chart prescribed medications, including IVs, and manage wound care or specialized equipment. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans. Instruct patients and families on post-surgery care, medication schedules, and post-discharge instructions. Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and take swift action to stabilize patients before emergencies occur. Floating to other units may be required. Every other weekend commitment is necessary.
