Experience with interpreting and managing dysrhythmias. Familiarity with rapid response/code teams and peripheral line care/management. Description: This is a Registered Nurse position in Neuro Tele specialty. The nurse will float between units as needed. Weekends are required, with six shifts scheduled per six-week period. The expected patient ratio is 1:4. This facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a total of 379 staffed beds. The dress code for licensed personnel is solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable attire. Staff will work in a fast-paced environment with a daily census of 27 patients. The focus is on providing care for patients experiencing TIA, stroke, and other neurosurgical conditions. It is essential to utilize an interdisciplinary team approach. Dedicated mentors are available to support new caregivers. The unit collaborates closely with various therapy teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Documentation will be completed using the EPIC electronic health record system. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic workload that includes monitoring and managing a range of acute neurological conditions. Floating to sister facilities may be required based on staffing needs. Maintaining flexibility in scheduling is important for this role.
