Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: Telemetry experience Recent acute care experience Ability to handle a 1:6 patient ratio Description: This position involves working in a telemetry unit. The facility is a community hospital and regional referral center. The environment features beautiful mountain ranges paired with serene lake scenery. There are outdoor recreational activities available nearby. The patient population includes adult and geriatric patients. Common patient conditions include total joint issues, surgical needs, and various acute medical conditions. Candidates must be compassionate with a positive, can-do attitude. Preceptor and charge experience is a plus. Floating to other units within the facility is an expectation. The equipment utilized includes IV pumps, bed/chair alarms, drug dispensing cabinets, and defibrillators. The electronic health record system used is Medhost. The ideal candidate should be a team player and possess strong clinical skills.
