Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS Certification required. Must-Have: - Experience in acute care rehabilitation preferred. - Ability to interpret laboratory results and perform medication reconciliation. - Experience in dressing changes and setting up aseptic/sterile procedure trays. - Proficient in telephone triage and handling pharmacy calls/patient refill requests. - Experience with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, and neurological diagnoses. Description: This position requires a registered nurse to provide specialized care for qualified patients with rehabilitation needs. The nurse will work with patients who have experienced strokes, aneurysms, post-operative surgical conditions, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. Patient ratios will be 1:6. The role involves floating to different campuses as needed. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and aware of the client's policies regarding tardiness and absences. All registered nurses are required to pass a pass/fail EKG exam regardless of specialty. Candidates should be prepared for this requirement during compliance. Education verification through a third party is required. A completed background check with no open cases is mandatory. Candidates must have EPIC experience. The position also requires the ability to manage patient assessments, vital signs, and documentation in patient charts.
