The primary patient population includes individuals with respiratory conditions, surgical patients, and those requiring general medical care. Responsibilities will include monitoring patients, administering medications, and managing IV therapy. The nurse will also provide patient education and support during their care. Observation of patients with various medical conditions will be necessary. The position requires flexibility to float to different areas as needed. Candidates must possess the ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. The role may involve working with end-of-life and hospice care patients. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential for this role. The Registered Nurse will participate in patient assessments and vital signs monitoring. All candidates must be prepared for an EKG examination during the onboarding process. Additional duties may include wound care, managing feeding tubes, and executing isolation precautions. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to handle a diverse patient load, maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor. Successful completion of compliance requirements prior to the start of the position is mandatory. The nurse will be required to work on holidays and weekends as part of their schedule.
