• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shift Pattern: 4x12-hour nights; may also consider straight 48s or 36/48 alternating

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
• Setting: Med/Surg Tele / Stroke Unit

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• BLS and NIHSS certification required
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred and a strong ability to adapt to new environments
• Cerner experience preferred
• Willingness to float to other Med/Surg/Tele units as assigned
• Flu vaccination required; medical, religious, and declination exemptions may be allowed
• Ability to meet all compliance requirements prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg Tele and stroke patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document care accurately and on time
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient progress and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety, and discharge instructions
• Float to other Med/Surg/Tele units when needed to support staffing demands
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced hospital setting
