Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,969 per week in Maryville, TN

Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend required, with flexibility based on unit needs. Float to similar units as needed based on census.

Highlights:

• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 30-bed medical-surgical and telemetry unit with an average daily census of 30
• Night shift patient ratios of 1:7, providing focused, quality patient care
• Epic electronic medical record system; minimum one year of Epic experience required
• Specialized procedures including post-cardiac catheterization care and bedside procedures such as dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage
• Omnicell medication management system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Contract travelers eligible for reimbursement for up to 16 hours of pre-assignment module completion

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• Minimum one year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required
• Minimum one year of Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 or higher
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac drip management, blood product administration, central line and PICC line management, and wound care
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience and qualifications
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions; COVID-19 vaccination not required
