Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nursing position located in an organization setting. This role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with a focus on cardiac and stroke patients. The position requires managing high-acuity patients, including those with complex cardiac conditions, and may involve floating to related units as needed. The shift is scheduled during night hours, with a minimum weekly commitment to support ongoing patient care needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, experience with Epic electronic health record system, and 5-6 years of patient charting experience on applicable systems.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, and other specialized medical procedures.
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for stroke and cardiac patients, with occasional opportunities to care for COVID-19 patients. The position may require floating to other medical-surgical units and potentially assisting in rehabilitation or obstetrics units based on staffing needs. Candidates must complete a pre-start module, generally taking 5-6 hours, which is billable.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates must hold a valid PA nursing license or meet specific licensing standards as detailed. EKG tests must be completed within 72 hours of signing the contract if applicable.
