Seasoned travel RN experience required — at least 1 completed travel contract
Epic charting experience required
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
MS/Tele experience with Telemetry monitoring
Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and rapid response/code teams
IV therapy, phlebotomy, peripheral/central line care, PICC management
Experience with blood product administration, heparin protocols, PCA, and IV insulin protocols
Experience with HFNC, oxygen administration, feeding tube care, wound care/wound vac
Must be willing to float to other acute-care units
Description:
Provide comprehensive medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, including assessment, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, and clinical interventions.
Monitor and manage patients with dysrhythmias and complex medical conditions, including use of telemetry, rapid response/code teams, oxygen therapy, HFNC, IV insulin, and heparin protocols.
Manage IV/PICC/central lines, blood products, feeding tubes, wound care/wound vacs, and maintain accurate documentation in Epic while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
