Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,984 per week in Greensboro, NC

The nurse will primarily care for medical-surgical patients. Travelers are required to float across various units as needed. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend shifts are expected. Holidays may be required based on unit needs. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of nursing experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with respiratory conditions and general medical-surgical diagnoses. Palliative, end-of-life, and hospice care will also be part of the patient population. Experience with psychiatric observation and management of diabetic patients is preferred. Previous charge nurse experience is beneficial. The nursing team supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various healthcare professionals. Routine assessments and management of medications will be crucial aspects of the role. It is essential to have experience using electronic medical records, specifically Epic. Candidates must pass an EKG compliance exam during the onboarding process. Travelers may be floated to different facilities as required.
