Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,987 per week in Lima, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years required License: Active Ohio/OH or Compact RN License Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS - Active NIHSS Certification Must-Have: - Must be competent with cardiac medications and knowledgeable in titration and application of these medications. - Must be competent in telemetry and possess knowledge of heart rhythms. - Must possess critical thinking skills, be able to recognize changes in patient status and intervene. - Must possess knowledge of signs and symptoms of stroke, recognize changes in patient status and intervene. - Must have strong communication skills. Description: This position follows the clinical interview process. Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone and text where applicable. Decisions are typically made the same day or by the next business day. Applicants seeking more than seven days off or more than 50% of holidays off are not eligible for the same processing timeline. The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift. RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs and PCTs.
