Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. This role involves providing exceptional care to patients who require telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical nursing skills.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: 3x12 Night Shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
  • Patient Ratios: 1:5
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Floating Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical-Surgical Telemetry, including interpretation of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring.
  • First-time Travelers: Accepted
  • Licensure: Valid SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
  • Certifications Required:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • Preferred Experience: Community hospital experience

Miscellaneous Information

  • No cost parking available.
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Hurricane Season Note: All employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during the hurricane season (June to November). Please consider this when accepting assignments during this time.
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility has the ability to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Work Environment

This position is within an acute care setting with a total of 286 staffed beds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
