Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 3x12 day shift. The position involves monitoring patients with telemetry needs, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. The schedule requires working every other weekend and floating within scope to meet unit needs.

Unit Information

• Newly established unit, currently comprising 18 beds.
• Facilities include bedside monitoring with telemetry capabilities, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry.
• Charge nurse responsibilities are shared between stepdown and the unit.
• Leadership is available on-site during off-shift hours and can be contacted via phone.
• House supervisor coverage is available 24/7.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a telemetry or medical-surgical setting.
• First-time Travelers: Accepted.
• Licensure: Valid South Carolina license or Compact license required prior to start.
• Certifications: Must possess BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Preferred Experience: Community hospital experience.

• Block schedule requests may be approved but are not guaranteed.
