Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,990 per week in Burlington, NC

The role involves providing care for general surgical patients with pre-operative and post-operative needs. Telemetry capability is required for remote monitoring of patients. Nurses must be able to manage and interpret vital signs, administer medications, and provide support related to various medical conditions. A maximum patient ratio of 1:5-6 will be maintained, ensuring quality care. Charge nurse experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Nurses will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates must have experience with various nursing skills and competencies, including central line management and wound care. Compliance with all policies and attendance standards is mandatory. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling and capable of completing necessary compliance requirements in a timely manner. A pass/fail EKG examination is required for all RNs.
