Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,997 per week in Charlotte, NC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 19 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Current state license required Certifications: BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. The unit will accept first-time travelers. Local candidates are accepted. Ratios are 5:1 but can run 1 over grid to 6:1. 36 hours can be offered. The unit will accept contracts from 16+ weeks. RTO is a maximum of 7 days. No call requirement. Floating is required as needed. Weekend requirement is 3 weekends (total of 6 weekend shifts between Saturday and Sundays) every 6 weeks. Patient population includes pulmonary and general medical patients. Patients may have longer lengths of stay, trach patients, COPD, and asthma. For pulmonary patients, we take trachs, chest tubes, and 02 up bipap/cpap; no vents. Unit systems include EPIC and PYXIS. Scrubs are not provided; navy blue and white in any combination are required. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility per job description. Travel pairs are allowed but must be on different units and disclosed. References can be pending at submission. Modules are required to be completed pre-start and annually, conducted online.
