Job Description:We are currently hiring an experienced LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) for a medical-surgical (MS/Telemetry) unit at a leading acute care facility in Rochester, NY. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with a supportive clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care with RN supervision
- Manage patient assignments in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
- Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central/peripheral line care
- Administer medications, including blood products
- Monitor telemetry and respond to patient condition changes
- Provide wound care, trach care, and feeding tube management
- Follow infection control and isolation protocols
Unit Details:- Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
- Unit Type: Medical Surgical / Telemetry
- Patient Population: Complex care, ortho overflow, long-term patients
Schedule & Additional Info:- Every other weekend required
- Must be available for every other holiday
- Floating required
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue & White
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per contract
Important Notes:- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
- Locals accepted at a reduced rate
- EPIC experience is a hard requirement
- RTO must be 10 days or less
