Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care across MedSurg, Telemetry and PCU units, including post-procedural and post-cardiac care
  • Monitor and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias; act quickly and appropriately
  • Titrate and manage IV drips (Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Insulin) per unit protocols
  • Deliver focused care for geriatric and orthopedic patients and support cath-lab post-procedure recovery
  • Float between campuses and units as needed, adapting quickly to differing patient populations and workflows
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including monitor techs and RTs, to optimize patient outcomes
  • Participate in required orientation and unit-specific training to maintain competence and safety
  • Communicate clearly with staffing and nursing leadership about assignments and patient needs
