Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Inpatient Nursing experience required Minimum of 6 months of Telemetry experience required Minimum of 6 months of Travel Nurse experience required Med Surg Telemetry experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district required Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS required Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course required Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired Description: Fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret it in terms of patients' needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients.
