Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required License: Must hold an active nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required - Completion of at least one travel assignment required - Candidates must pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms Description: The Registered Nurse will function in the role of an ED Boarder RN. The candidate will provide care for patients in a fast-paced environment. Experience in telemetry and cardiac telemetry is vital. Responsibilities include monitoring patients and administering medications. The role requires floating to medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed. No weekend, holiday, or on-call shifts are required. Patient ratios will be 5:1 during the night shift. Candidates will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support teams. The facility accommodates diverse patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Additional responsibilities may include blood product administration, managing IVs, and adhering to isolation precautions. The position demands skills in non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and wound care. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in utilizing rapid response and code teams when necessary. All employees must receive the flu vaccine, with no exemptions allowed. Candidates must provide two supervisory references supporting their experience. No requested time off will be permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. Requested time off must be included at the time of submission and cannot be modified later. Candidates must complete all necessary compliance requirements by their designated deadlines.
