Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in Fort Dodge, Iowa. This position involves providing bedside care within a hospital setting, contributing to patient recovery and ensuring quality clinical outcomes. The candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team and may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS, ACLS (American Heart Association)
• State Licenses: Iowa license required
• Required Qualifications: 0 years of experience; valid Iowa license; EPIC electronic medical record experience; drivers license required; work history/resume required; skills checklist (completed within last year); license verification; copy of certifications; supervisory reference required at time of submission; must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility. Unless local in Madison, where a 10% rate reduction applies.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac, heparin, insulin drips, and titration; comfortable floating to Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit; familiarity with the facilitys fixed notes and protocols.
• Additional Information: 2 years of experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Med/Tele is preferred. Must be comfortable with cardiac care, titration, and EPIC EMR. Every Monday orientation schedule, with occasional work on holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). Summer holidays may require working 1-2 of these days. Candidates should be prepared for on-call duties with multiplier pay.
• Submission Requirements: Submit work history/resume, skills checklist, license verification, certifications, and references (one supervisory reference). Candidates should have at least 3 years of nursing experience for initial consideration.
