**Position Overview:**
- **Role:** Registered Nurse (Acute Travel)
- **Specialty:** Medical – Surgical
- **Shift:** Day Shift (7A - 7:30P)
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Unit:** Med/Surg (3rd & 4th floors)
- **Patient Population:** Serves all ages
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
**Requirements:**
- **Certifications:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- CPI/HWC/MAB
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in a Medical-Surgical setting
- **Education:** Valid RN license in Kentucky
**Unit Highlights:**
- **Number of Beds:** 57
- **Patient Ratios:** Up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
- **Electronic Health Record (EHR):** MediTech
- **Common Diagnoses/Treatments:** COPD, post-op joints, diabetic population
